Lexovo is a digital subscription service. This Refund Policy explains when you can get money back, how to request it, and how long it takes.
1. EU 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union, EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU) gives you 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance-purchased subscription without giving any reason, starting on the day you subscribed.
However, when you complete checkout you are asked to expressly consent to immediate access to the digital content (the lessons, AI scenarios, etc.). By giving that consent and starting to use the service, you acknowledge that your withdrawal right ends. This is the standard treatment of digital services under Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.
If you have not used the service since subscribing — for example, you bought a subscription but never logged in — we will honour the 14-day withdrawal right and refund you in full.
2. Trial period
Subscriptions purchased with a promotional code include a 30-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel at any point during the trial from your profile page or the Stripe Customer Portal to avoid being charged at the end.
3. Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are paid up-front. If you cancel mid-year, access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for annual plans except in the cases described in section 5 (exceptional circumstances) or where the 14-day withdrawal right applies.
4. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. After cancellation, you continue to have access until the end of the current billing cycle. We do not pro-rate or refund unused days within a month.
5. Exceptional circumstances
We will consider a refund outside the cases above if:
- a technical problem on our side prevented you from accessing the service for an extended period;
- you were charged twice or for an amount not matching the price shown at checkout (Stripe occasionally retries failed payments; if a retry causes a duplicate charge, contact us);
- you are unable to access the service for medical or other serious personal reasons, at our discretion.
6. How to request a refund
Email hello@lexovo.appfrom the address associated with your Lexovo account, with the subject line “Refund request”. Include:
- your account email,
- the date of the charge you want refunded,
- the reason for the request.
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your card within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. B2B subscriptions
Refunds for B2B (company) seat-based subscriptions follow the terms negotiated in your order or master agreement and may differ from the consumer terms above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy. The current version is always available at lexovo.app/refund and forms part of our Terms of Service.
